If you have the space, why not host a dinner, or garden party and sell tickets? You could include a raffle or auction too.
Use your skills and donate your time to running a class. Local fitness or sports coach? Offer a session in exchange for donations.
Do you play an instrument or have links to a local band or choir? Could you host a concert or performance in aid of Children on the Edge?
Whatever you decide, you’ll be helping to educate and protect some of the worlds’ most marginalised children, ensuring they are able to thrive.
ROWING FOR REFUGEES IN A TIN BOAT
81-year-old retired army Major Mick Stanley was so moved when he saw the crisis unfolding in Ukraine that he decided to take to the water in his homemade boat; 'The Tintanic', and raise money to support Ukrainian refugees.
Our youngest supporters have the best ideas! Edie joined a local garage sale trail selling her old toys and homemade cakes. Sisters Alba and Adya climbed a mountain and two school friends Finley and Jensen ran 5km; all for Children on the Edge.
A group of alumni Body Shop employees from the 1990’s hosted a reunion event with a throwback quiz, a raffle and an auction. Our CEO, Rachel Bentley was invited along to speak and the event was a huge success, raising £5000!
Staff from The Body Shop company organised a fundraising football match to raise funds for Children on the Edge. One department took on another in an epic head to head derby for the winners trophy. The cheering crowds enjoyed popcorn, candy floss, goody bags and a great raffle.
