In 2025–2026, we demonstrated that even in the toughest environments, investing in local leaders creates sustainable change. We have tested, refined, and used low-cost interventions on the margins, always sharing them openly so governments and international bodies can scale them where they are most needed.

Our small size and agility allowed us to act as a catalyst. With a sharp focus, we developed best practice models that can be scaled by much larger agencies, creating benchmarks to raise standards across the sector. We describe this as ‘the Mosquito Effect’, inspired by our Co-founder Anita Roddick’s well-loved quote.
