Fundraise for Children on the Edge at work and make a huge difference.
Fundraising at work is a great way to bring colleagues together and have fun at the same time. You’ll be making an enormous difference to the lives of the children and communities we support.
There are lots of ways your workplace can raise money for Children on the Edge and our friendly Fundraising Team is ready to support you every step of the way.
The Pirbright Institute held a Bake Off competition in the office, with cakes sold in their atrium one morning, raising £348. Our Fundraising Officer joined their CEO to judge the best cakes, awarding a Star Baker apron!
HIKING CHALLENGE
The whole team from Edward Cooke Family Law in Chilgrove walked 42 miles of the South Downs Way, setting off from their office near Chichester, finishing at their office in Hove. Their nine staff members walked for 22 hours, and raised an incredible £4,000.
FUN IN THE OFFICE
Organise a sweepstake as an easy way to raise some cash for Children on the Edge. Pick a sporting event or popular TV show and charge people to enter; offering a small prize to the winner. Or if you work in an office together, why not organise your grown up mufti day? Challenge your colleagues to dress up or down and charge them for the privilege.
TAKE ON A CHALLENGE OR VIRTUAL RACE
Do your colleagues love a challenge? Join a local event and work together to train and take part on the day, collecting sponsorship as you go. Could your employers match fund your total?
If you work remotely, you and your colleagues could take on a virtual race. Set a destination or target and track your weekly mileage to work towards the virtual finish line. Use an online tracker to help you organise your virtual race.
