If you’ve taken a look through our Fundraising pages and still aren’t sure what you could do to help support Children on the Edge, here’s our top suggestions.
We’ve got everything from simple activities or changes to some more epic challenges. You can do these by yourself, or get your friends, family, children, or colleagues involved!
Do something special for a week, like donate the cost of your daily coffee or make a packed lunch and donate what you would spend in the shops. You’ll be surprised how quickly it adds up!
Offer to do chores or small jobs for friends and family for a small donation to Children on the Edge. You could wash cars, do some gardening or take your friends’ dog for a walk.
Arrange a BBQ, coffee morning, tea party or dinner party and charge your friends to come. Perhaps you could organise a raffle, or quiz to raise extra funds.
Ask for a Children on the Edge collection box to put in your local shop, school or workplace. Get in touch with us to request a box.
You could walk or cycle to work and donate the money you would have spent on petrol or public transport. Encourage your colleagues to join you and make an even bigger difference!
Have you got a special skill that you could use to raise funds? Are you a talented chef who could cook for friends and family? Are you a yoga teacher who could put on a fundraising class? Whatever your skills, put them to good use and make a real difference to the lives of the children we support.
Fancy something a bit more challenging? Take part in a half-marathon, cycle ride or long walk, either on your own or with a group. Find your own event or grab one of our charity places. Find out more about challenge fundraising.
