VOLUNTEERING

Volunteering with Children on the Edge is a great way to support real and lasting change in the lives of marginalised children.

We benefit from some amazing volunteers in the UK and beyond who offer their expert digital or technical skills to support our website and online presence, or assist our fundraising team with applications and administration.

But the vast majority of our volunteering opportunities are ad hoc, and based in and around our Head Office in Chichester, West Sussex.

Our volunteers often help with writing cards, data entry or research in the office. Some offer their skills in photography or videography to capture fundraising events or activities. In the community, our volunteers help us to pack goody bags, assist us at events or might give talks to local groups or schools about our work.

Please note that we do not offer volunteering placements abroad.

"
It is fascinating research and uplifting to see evidence of so much philanthropy. Knowing that giving some of my time is helping Sophie with her vital work makes it worthwhile, that and the tea and biscuits, thank you Sophie!

"
The work Children on the Edge does supporting children in some of the toughest conditions in the world is critically important and always in demand. I feel privileged to be involved with the team and to be able to help out in a small way.
