CHALLENGE YOURSELF THIS YEAR

As we enter a new year, many of us take time to reflect on our plans and ambitions for the year ahead. For some of you, this may include more movement, to boost your physical and mental health; taking on a challenge or adventure to push yourself and see what you can do, or giving something back to help others. 

Well, I’m happy to share that fundraising for Children on the Edge can do all three! 

Far too many children around the globe are living in some of the toughest situations, denied their rights and deprived of the chance to thrive. Your actions this year and the challenges you set for yourself, can help to ensure that marginalised children are educated and protected. 

It’s a win - win! 

To get started, here’s some ways you can get involved and make a difference.

London Landmarks Half Marathon

Join our team in April for this iconic half marathon through the centre of London. With a fundraising target of £350, our team will support you as you take on this fantastic challenge. Find out more.

Get Baking!

Our Big Cake Bake gives you a chance to use your skills (or local shops!) to raise cash for Children on the Edge. It’s not restricted to October, so get baking at any time, at work, school or in your community to share the love of cake, and raise important funds for our work. Sign up today.

Challenge Yourself

We love to see supporters create their own challenges, whether that’s rowing in a homemade tin boat, climbing a mountain, or joining an organised ride or run. Could you choose a challenge to take on this year for Children on the Edge? Get some inspiration.

Schools

We love to work with schools and support fundraising activities, teaching children about our work with refugees and how we educate children around the world, in very different circumstances. Get in touch with our team to find out more about getting your school involved. 

Give As You Live

If those all sound far too energetic, one of the easiest ways to raise money all year round, is by signing up to Give As You Live. They will make a donation to Children on the Edge every time you shop online with one of the 1000’s of stores taking part, including Marks & Spencers, eBay, Boots, John Lewis and the big supermarkets. A few clicks every time you shop can really add up over the year. Register now and start raising free funds for Children on the Edge.

Any fundraising you do for Children on the Edge, big or small, will help us to work hand in hand with local communities to restore hope, dignity and justice and create the conditions where marginalised children can flourish and thrive. Even just talking about us with your friends or family can make a big difference.
