Great South Run 2025

Grab your own place in this picturesque fast and flat race in Portsmouth and run for Children on the Edge.

The Great South Run is a unique 10 mile distance is a perfect step on from a 5km training plan, or a good preparation if you're planning a longer race next year.

Our Fundraising team is here to support you every step of the way. Once you start fundraising, we'll send a running shirt to wear on race day.

How to Start Fundraising

Set up your fundraising page

Create a Just Giving fundraising page to start collecting your donations online. Make sure to add a good photo and include your reasons for fundraising. Read these Just Giving tips.

Share your story

Then tell people about your event and why you are fundraising. Send messages, share on social media, email colleagues at work. Share updates on your training with videos and photos for maximum impact. Be sure to ask for donations!
