Children on the Edge was sparked into being in 1990 by Anita Roddick, who mobilised her company, The Body Shop to co-found Children on the Edge. 

Whether you're a sustainable clothing brand, a leading law firm, or an entrepreneurial children’s brand, we’re eager to collaborate to identify ways in which you can make a difference to children who are forced to flee their homes, surviving in warzones, or living in poverty.

OUR THEMES

EDUCATION

Every child has the right to an education, but children who are living in refugee camps, slums or active warzones, often have no way to access learning. We work to ensure that children have access to high quality education, in bright, colourful classrooms, with lessons taught in their own language, by trained and trusted teachers.

PROTECTION

All children deserve to grow up in a safe place, protected from harm. In the toughest situations, we help to build protection into children’s surroundings - at home, in the classroom and in their wider communities. We support families through parenting groups and community workshops – so they can tackle local issues, campaign for change and create safer communities for their children in a sustainable way.
