Raffle Raises £1,970

Fundraisers from The Body Shop At Home have raised a grand total of £1,970 for vulnerable children through raffle ticket sales between 10 August and 30 November 2009.

The winner was announced as Karen Richards on Tuesday 1 December. Karen won £500 cash and is delighted to have picked the winner. 

With Christmas fast approaching Karen said the prize would really help with all the expenses that are piling up.

This is not the first raffle of its kind although it is the first time there has been a cash prize. The Body Shop at Home, corporate sponsors of Children on the Edge, sell raffle tickets national wide annually. Previous prizes have included trips to New york and European cities.

Ben Wilkes of Children on the Edge added "The Body Shop at Home are committed friends and supporters of Children on the Edge. Yet again, they have dug deep to help marginalised and vulnerable children. Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket and congratulations to Karen."
